Trainee: | Hiya, is Michelle in? |
Room mate: | Yes, she's in the kitchen, come on in. |
Trainee: | Down here? |
Room mate: | Yeah, the kitchen is at the end of the hall. |
Trainee: | Hello Michelle, how are you? |
Michelle: | I am fine thanks, and you? I'm glad you came. |
Trainee: | I'm good thanks, I brought a bottle of wine with me. |
Michelle: | Great, do you want to stick it in the fridge until we open it? I hope you can find some room! Do you want a glass of this wine? |
Trainee: | Sure, thanks. |
Michelle: | There are loads of people here. Do you know many of them? |
Trainee: | I recognise a few faces, but not all! |
Michelle: | O.K. I will introduce you, have you met the DJ? This is my brother's friend John. |
Trainee: | Hi, nice to meet you. |
John: | Hi, how are you finding life in Ireland? |
Trainee: | Not bad thanks. |
Michelle: | Come on, I'll introduce you to the rest. |
After dinner | |
Michelle: | So are you having a good time? |
Trainee: | Yeah, it's great, I've met loads of people, danced and had a good laugh! |
Michelle: | Do you have any plans for the rest of the weekend? |
Trainee: | No, not really. |
Michelle: | Maybe we could go for a drink if you're free? |
Trainee: | Yeah, that sounds nice. I'll give you my number and you can give me a ring or send me a text to arrange it. |
Michelle: | Brilliant. |
