- Ask for your European Health Insurance Card before travelling abroad.
- Keep your passport updated at all times.
- Keep a photocopy of all your important documentation in case something unexpected occurs.
- Keep in mind the telephone numbers and addresses of the main official bodies that can help you (Consulates, Embassies, Police stations ...)
DON’Ts
- Be afraid of complaining about any abuse to the person in charge in each case.
- Overlook your belongings; there are thieves in every country.
- Be careless about the doctor’s advice in case of an illness.
- Forget to keep some money in case an unexpected event occurs.
