Room mate: | Labas, ji yra svetainėje, užeikite. | Hello, come in. She is in the living room. |
Anna: | Čia? | Here? |
Room mate: | Taip, eikite koridoriumi tiesiai, po to pirmas posūkis į kairę. | Yes, please go straight through the corridor then the first turn to the left. |
Anna: | Labas, Kristina. Kaip laikais? | Hello Kristina. How are you? |
Kristina: | Ačiū, gerai, o kaip tu? Dėkoju, kad atėjai. | Thank you, everything is fine, and how are you? Thanks for coming. |
Anna: | Man irgi viskas gerai. Štai atsinešiau vyno. | Thanks, everything is fine. Here I brought some wine. |
Kristina: | Dėkui. Tai gal norėtum taurės vyno? | Thanks. Would you like a glass of wine? |
Anna: | Taip, ačiū. | Yes. Thank you. |
Kristina: | Šiandien susirinko daug įvairių žmonių. Ar tu juos visus pažįsti? | Many people gathered here today. Do you know all of them? |
Anna: | Taip, daugumą iš jų. | Yes, the majority of them. |
Kristina: | Bet nepažįsti mano kaimyno Petro. Leisk, aš tave pristatysiu. Čia mano draugė Ana, o čia mano kaimynas Petras. | But you haven’t met my neighbour Peter. Let me introduce you. This is my friend Anna, and this is my neighbour Peter. |
Anna: | Sveiki, malonu susipažinti. | Hello, it‘s a pleasure to meet you. |
Peter: | Labas. Kaip Jums patinka Lietuva? Kiek laiko jau esate Lietuvoje? Kokiu tikslu atvykote? | Hello, how do you like Lithuania? How long have you been staying in Lithuania? What is the purpuse of your stay? |
Anna: | Lietuva man labai patinka. Tai labai graži šalis. Čia aš mokausi pagal mainų programą jau nuo rugsėjo mėnesio. Ketinu likti iki sausio pabaigos. | I like Lithuania very much. It is a beautiful country. I have been studying under the exchange programme since September. I am going to stay in Lithuania till January. |
Kristina: | Eime, aš supažindinsiu tave su kitais. | Come on, I will introduce you with others. |

Anna: | Šaunus. Pabendravau su daugybe žmonių ir smagiai pašokau. | Great. I have socialized with a lot of people, and had a fun dancing. |
Peter: | O kokie tavo planai rytojui? | What are your plans for tomorrow? |
Anna: | Na, kaip ir nesuplanavau nieko rimto. | I have not planed anything special yet. |
Peter: | Gal norėtum išeiti su manimi pasivaikščioti į senamiestį? Vakare nueitume pažiūrėti paties geriausio spektaklio šį sezoną. | Would you like to go for a walk in the old town with me? We would go to watch the best performance of the season later in the evening. |
Anna: | Visai būtų įdomu. Gal galėtum paimti mane apie antrą? | It would be interesting. Could you pick me up at about two o’clock? |
Peter: | Puiku, man tinka. | Great. It is fine with me. |
