When you are visiting somebody's home, always remember to take your shoes of.
In Sweden bill paying options are available monthly or quarterly and normally they do not ask for a deposit. But you must always sign a contract for accommodation in Sweden.
It is also important to have a contact number for the landlord in the event of a problem involving the accommodation which needs urgent attention.
