Relation to Time
Time is a very important concept in Sweden. Swedes are very conscious of time, and they place considerable value on punctuality. It is therefore important to be on time for appointments, meetings, classes or social engagements.
Equality
Although there are many differences in social, economic and educational levels in Sweden, there is a theme of equality that runs through social relationships. In most cases Swedish people treat everyone in a similar way with little concern for titles or status.
